Some of you probably know, and I have mentioned before over various sessions, that I have been much bothered by the heavy attrition nature of Wave 1.
While UB was not designed for attrition, and WP handles attrition in a much more streamlined way than many other systems, it is still very much not the ideal situation for the game I want to run. A tough encounter should be able to feel tough without having to squeeze out every last WP from the players, and likewise having a lot of WP going into an encounter should never make it feel a lot easier/auto-win (as opposed to a game where one goes into the last encounter with full spell slots, for example).
As you know, Wave 1 increased everyone's WP pool by 2 points, but uplifted the limits on the usual WP usage for every encounter. While this was to cater for the Discord/Roll20 limitations (which we are still constrained by), this also meant multiple Resurgences per encounter, and as many Heals as the Healer had WP to regain.
Bearing the above in mind, we will try out the following WP rules, which replace the earlier arrangement of +2 to WP pool.
Firstly, the usual WP usage restrictions apply, as per unboundgames.proboards.com/thread/419/willpower
Secondly, after every encounter, if you have at least 5 minutes to gather yourselves, you regain any two of the following : 1 Reserve or 1 expended Signature Ability of Rank3/lower (including SM Heal but excluding Racials, same as Recovery C)
Overall, this gives more than +2 WP to each person's WP pool, but prevents spams - notably Resurgence, rerolls galore, regain-Heal - from skewing any single encounter by too much.
Let's give this a whirl and see where it leads us.

Note all uses of Willpower (WP) are considered No Action, especially related to regaining Signatures and when altering d20 rolls for Death Saving Throws.
WP rerolls cannot be re-applied to the same roll.
Resurgence: costs 2 WP (once/battle) :

A) gain +4 to a d20 roll
B) take an extra Standard action on your current turn
Recovery: costs 1 WP (twice/battle)
Choose one of following
A) Regain an expended Reserve
B) Reroll a d20 roll
