In usual game, if you are immune or ignore a certain status like "Dominated", all other effects of the power still apply and affect you. eg. An effect inflicts Dominated and ongoing 10 damage (SE both). Even if you are immune to Dominate, you will still suffer from the ongoing damage (SE).
By this understanding, by RAW (Rules As Written), Superior Will is even stronger than being immune or ignoring a status like Dazed and Stunned, which doesn't really make sense. eg. An effect inflicts Dazed & Weakened (SE both) If you are immune to Dazed, you are still Weakened (SE). If you have Superior Will, by RAW, when you save against Dazed you end the effect, and are no longer Weakened either. So Superior Will is generally stronger than being Immune to it!
Hence, as previously discussed at the table with players (sometime in Paragon tier), we agreed to split up the effects for Superior Will.
Under House Rule, if you are using Superior Will, when you save against an effect like Dazed or Stunned, only the Dazed or Stunned effect ends. The rest of the effect does not end but remains.
Likewise, if you use any Item Property or At Will powers to negate effects, the same principle applies - you negate that effect specified by the the power, and the rest of the effects remain.
This Ruling does not apply to Encounter Powers or Daily Powers, regardless if the Power comes from your Class or an Item.
