The Cloudraker looks roughly as above, except it is mostly silver/white, with a light blue sheen around the prow. The two half-triangle sail-fins appear somewhat translucent. The wooden deck is painted a fine white. Below the centre and also the ship are clouds with the centre occasionally crackling with lightning energy, effectively "creating" its own cloud to sail forward and slice through as if on rippling waves that dissipate into nothingness. The ship flies at the lowest height of about 6000' or 1200 squares, and looks like a cloud from below. The ship is reached by means of a ritual circle below, after a 10 min ritual that is taught to the party, whereupon they materialize in the hold or above deck, depending which circles on the ship are active. Descending from the ship is a similar process but does not require a ritual circle at the destination. It does require a flat stretch of area at least 50' square, lest mishaps occur. The crew comprises 3 pairs - each pair comprising one male and one female - of 3 different races - elf, eladrin, human. All the crew seem quite happy if not ecstatic to be crewing the ship, possibly the most blissful humanoids you have ever seen anywhere. They seem attuned to the ship. That said, they have their own sleeping quarters - 3 separate bunks - below deck, separate from the party. The crew take 8 hr shifts at the helm ( a large steering wheel of arcane fire and psychic energy ) and below deck in the "cells" that control propulsion. Most of the energy fueling the ship seems to be from elemental cubes, mainly air elemental energies. A truly astute arcana did reveal it could run on life force if need be. The ship has no obvious weapons, though the crew have some dusty crossbows and longbows. The lightning below and behind could be used to strafe and rip through matter beneath, at great cost of energy. However the crew are adamant that it cannot fly below its given altitude, despite no arcana indicating such. A scan for scrying also reveals there is no direct scrying device on board. That said, the ship is identified as a unique item/ location, and anyone with knowledge of it and in radius can scry upon it. The party is given larger more spacious quarters in the fore of the ship, directly accessible from the deck, roughly under the helm controls. The space has been separated into individual small bunks. In the common area of the cabin, there is a mirror with a curtain before it. Presumably it can be used for communication.
