Might be jumping the gun on this one, but some of the Awards are simply not attainable during the Lair Assault. Besides some previews might persuade you guys which LA to do next after we're done with LA2
LAIR ASSAULT NOTES- This is a Lair Assault for Level 6 Characters.
- Any Character with Fey Origin gains +1 to Attack Rolls
- Hyacinth is the Dryad Druid you have to protect, and she will be stunned (grants CA), immobilised, immune to forced movement (including friendly slide effects etc) in one square adjacent to the obelisk throughout your protective stint.
- Hyacinth has 75 HP and 1 Healing Surge of 19 HP.
- The Obelisk is 10' x 10' at the base and 10' tall. (effectively a 2x2x2 cube in game terms) It is in the middle of the map.
- Hyacinth also provides the party up to 100 resource points (see below) to deploy following items for the expedition. You can pick any items as long as the total does not exceed 100 Resource Points.
- There are 2 Ramparts of 50' high in 2 corners of the map. You can place Resources on the Ramparts.
- Athletics Checks get harder during the first few rounds of the encounter due to the primal magic Hyacinth is channelling.
- Dinosaurs do not count as "Natural" Enemies in this Lair Assault

Large Crate : 20 Resource PointsHP 40; AC/F/R/W : 12/10/10/-
Immune : necrotic, poison, psychic, forced movement, all conditions.
Traits : Blocking Terrain (10' wide on each side, ie 2x2x2). Creatures enter the crate's square only by climbing over it, which requires a DC 11 Athletics check.
Light Ballista : 30 Resource PointsHP 40; AC/F/R/W : 20/18/14/-
Immune : necrotic, poison, psychic, forced movement, all conditions.
Traits :Blocking Terrain : The Ballista is blocking terrain, however creatures can move diagonally across its corners (ie soft corner)
Siege Weapon : The Ballista does not have actions. However a creature of Intelligence 8 or higher can use the ballista to make the following attack. A monster cannot use the ballista while a player character is adjacent to it.
Standard Actions:Heavy Bolt (recharge when adjacent creature spends minor action to reload it)
Attack : Ranged 30 (one creature) : +9 vs Reflex. Making this attack does not provoke Opportunity Attacks.
Hit : 3d8+12 damage, the target is pushed 1 square and falls prone.
Magic Crossbow Turret : 30 Resource PointsHP 30; AC/F/R/W : 16/13/13/-
Initiative +3 ; Immune : necrotic, poison, psychic, forced movement, all conditions.
Traits :Blocking Terrain : The Turret is blocking terrain, however creatures can move diagonally across its corners (ie soft corner)
Magical Trap : The Magical Crossbow Turret acts on its own initiative and fires bolts at the nearest enemy to the Turret.
Standard Actions:Bolt (at Will, when it starts its Turn)
Attack : Ranged 10 (nearest enemy) : +11 vs AC. Making this attack does not provoke Opportunity Attacks.
Hit : 1d8 + 3 damage.
